Ingredientes

  • 1 libra de arroz
  • 1 lata pequeña de salsa condimentada
  • 1 cebolla
  • 1 pimiento rojo
  • 1 pimiento verde
  • 1 pimiento amarillo
  • 1 litro de caldo de pollo
  • 1 pollo de 2 libras cortado en piezas pequeñas
  • 2 cucharadas de aceite

Preparación

  1. Limpiamos y lavamos bien el pollo, lo cortamos en piezas pequeñas y sazonamos con ajo, sal y pimienta.
  2. En un caldero ponemos las 2 cucharadas de aceite y un poco de azúcar hasta que tome color caramelo oscuro, sofreímos la carne hasta dorar, cocinamos como de costumbre por 10 minutos y reservamos.
  3. En un caldero sofreímos los pimientos y cebolla y agregamos la salsa condimentada, agregamos 1 taza de agua, cuando hierva agregamos el arroz y movemos bien para que se mezclen todos los ingredientes, dejamos cocinar por 5 minutos y agregamos la carne, el caldo de pollo y más agua hasta cubrir todo el arroz, dejamos hervir hasta que el arroz este cocido.
