Jamón de pierna en salsa de ciruela

Ingredientes

  • 1 pierna de jamón entera
  • 1 taza de ciruelas pasas deshuesadas
  • 1 taza de sidra
  • 1/4 taza de miel de maíz
  • 1 chile chipotle
  • 1 cucharada de jengibre rallado
  • 1 diente de ajo
  • 1/4 de cebolla
  • 1 pizca de sal
  • 1 pizca de pimienta
  • 1 ramita de puerro

Preparación

  1. En una olla poner a hervir las ciruelas partidas por la mitad junto con la sidra, la miel de maíz, los chiles, el ajo, la cebolla y el jengibre.
  2. Una vez hierva, retirar y poner un toque de sal y pimienta.
  3. Mezclar en la licuadora y reservar.
  4. En una bandeja para horno colocar la pierna de jamón entera.
  5. Con un cuchillo, hacer incisiones en los bordes y cubrir totalmente con la salsa de ciruela.
  6. Llevar al horno a 180ºC durante 15 minutos.
  7. Retirar del horno y rebanarla para servir.
