Papas fritas al curry con salsa de yogurt

Ingredientes

  • 1 papa grande y pelada
  • 2 cucharaditas de aceite de oliva
  • 1 clara de huevo
  • 1/2 cucharadita de curry en polvo
  • 1/2 de cucharadita de comino molido
  • 1/4 de cucharadita de cúrcuma
  • 1/4 de cucharadita de hojuelas de pimentón rojo
  • ½ cucharadita de sal
  • ½ taza de yogurt griego

Preparación

  1. Pelar la papa, rebanar en trozos no muy delgados y untar con aceite de oliva.
  2. Reservar.
  3. Luego, en un tazón mediano, batir la clara de huevo hasta que esté espumosa y añadir el curry en polvo, el comino, la cúrcuma y las hojuelas de pimentón rojo triturado; batir para que se fusionen.
  4. Añadir la mezcla de clara de huevo sobre las papas y revolver para que queden bien cubiertas, dejarlas reposar durante 10 minutos.
  5. Freirlas en un sartén con aceite bien caliente y retirlarlas en cuanto hayan adquirido una tonalidad dorada.
  6. Espolvorear con curry y una pizca de sal.
  7. Finalmente, mezclar en un envase la media taza de yogurt, la cucharadita de aceite de oliva, el comino molido y la pizca de sal, revolver bien y servir como aderezo junto a las papas.
