Ingredientes

  • 1 Taza de harina de maíz
  • ½ Taza de harina de trigo
  • ½ Taza de harina integral
  • 1 Cucharadita de salvia molida
  • ¼ Taza de azúcar
  • 2 Cucharadas de polvo de hornear
  • ¾ Cucharadita de sal
  • ½ Cucharadita de pimienta blanca
  • 2 Huevos
  • 1 Taza de leche
  • ¼ Taza de aceite de oliva
  • Ajíes picantes picados (al gusto)
  • 1 Taza de apio finamente picado
  • 1 Taza de cebolla o puerro finamente picado
  • 1 Lata de maíz
  • 6 Salchichas alemanas en ruedas
  • 1 Taza de queso rallado para derretir

Preparación

  1. Sofreír el apio en una sartén profunda, agregar la cebolla y mover; luego el maíz, un poco de las salchichas picadas en ruedas finas, mover y dejar cocinar.
  2. Mezclar los ingredientes sólidos y reservar.
  3. En otro recipiente, mezclar los huevos, el aceite y la crema de leche, unir bien y reservar.
  4. Agregar al sofrito la mezcla de harina reservada y unir bien.
  5. Luego verter sobre la mezcla los líquidos y unir de forma envolvente.
  6. Si la mezcla está muy seca, adicionar un poco de fondo de vegetales caliente para que la mezcla suelte un poco y esté más suave.
  7. Unificar de forma envolvente, pero que todo quede integrado.
  8. Verter en un molde refractario previamente engrasado, colocar por encima el resto de las salchichas reservadas y el queso rallado.
  9. Llevar al horno precalentado a 350ºF por espacio de 40 minutos, aproximadamente.
