Pollo a la Cerveza

Ingredientes

  • 4 Presas de pollo (muslo)
  • 2 Cebollas blancas grandes
  • 1 1/2 Taza de zanahorias bebé
  • 1 Lata de cerveza
  • 3 Ramas de tomillo fresco
  • 3 Ramas de romero fresco
  • 1/4 Taza de aceite de oliva
  • Sal y pimienta

Preparación

  1. En un caldero agregar la mitad del aceite de oliva, incorporar las cebollas, previamente cortadas en cuartos (medias lunas), y sofreír por un par de minutos. Luego agregar las zanahorias.
  2. Salpimentar bien el pollo (dejando la piel), subir el fuego y colocar las presas en el caldero. Agregar el resto del aceite de oliva e ir dorando las piezas ligeramente (de 3 a 4 minutos más).
  3. Bajar el fuego, agregar la cerveza y añadir las ramas de tomillo y romero. Dejar cocinar hasta que el alcohol haya reducido completamente y el pollo acabe de dorarse bien (una media hora).
  4. Al momento de servir, emplatar junto a las zanahorias, las cebollas y agregar parte del líquido drenado, por encima de cada pieza.
  5. NOTA: se puede también agregar papas bebé, pre coserlas y luego incorporarlas junto con las zanahorias para que terminen su proceso de cocción junto con el pollo.
