Pudín de Pan de Apple Pie con Salsa de Caramelo

Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 Libra de pan brioche en cubitos
  • 2 Latas de leche evaporada
  • 2 1/2 Tazas de leche
  • 4 Huevos enteros
  • 3/4 De taza de azúcar morena
  • 1 Pizca de sal
  • 1 Cucharadita de vainilla
  • 1 1/2 Cucharadita canela
  • 1/4 Cucharadita de clavo dulce
  • Un poco de nuez moscada fresca
  • 1 Barra de mantequilla en cubitos
  • Manzanas caramelizadas
  • 6 Manzanas verdes peladas y picadas con 3 cucharadas de jugo de limón
  • 3/4 De barra mantequilla
  • 1/3 De taza de azúcar

Preparación

  1. Caramelizar las manzanas.
  2. En una olla derretir a fuego lento la mantequilla, agregar el azúcar y las manzanas. Dejar que las manzanas se cocinen a fuego lento por aproximadamente 10-15 minutos. Quitar del fuego y dejar refrescar.
  3. Pudín de pan
  4. Precalentar el horno a 350 F. En un bowl mezclar la leche, la leche evaporada, el azúcar, la sal, la vainilla, el licor y los huevos.
  5. Mojar el pan con la mezcla.
  6. Incorporar las manzanas y la mantequilla en cuadritos. Mezclar bien. Hornear en un pirex, molde de cupcakes o ramekins, a baño maría por aproximadamente 30 minutos o hasta que cuaje. Tip: hornear cubierto con papel de aluminio y quitar los últimos 10 minutos para dorar. Servir tibio o caliente con salsa de caramelo y helado.
