Pudín de pan, turrón y dulce de leche

Ingredientes

  • ½ kilo de pan duro
  • 4 tazas de leche
  • 1 cucharada de mantequilla para engrasar el molde
  • 4 huevos
  • 120 gramos (aprox. ½ taza) de mantequilla
  • 750 gramos de azúcar
  • 100 gramos de dulce de leche
  • ½ cucharada de esencia de vainilla
  • ½ taza de turrón en pedazos

Preparación

  1. Se corta el pan en pedazos de unos 4 cm y se pone en un bol grande a remojar con la leche, revolviendo con frecuencia.
  2. Desmenuzar el pan y mezclarlo con la ayuda de un mezclador.
  3. Precalentar el horno a 400°F y engrasar con la mantequilla un molde de metal para hornear de unos 30 cm de diámetro por 6 cm de alto.
  4. Agregar al pan los huevos, la mantequilla, el azúcar, el dulce de leche, el turrón y la vainilla.
  5. Con ayuda de una paleta de madera, mézclalos lo mejor que puedas.
  6. No te preocupes si no queda muy homogénea, pues la mezcla debe ser un poco rústica.
  7. Vierte la mezcla en el molde, que debe quedar más o menos a la mitad.
  8. Alísalo por encima con la espátula, para ayudar a cubrir el molde.
  9. Llevar al horno durante una hora aproximadamente, o hasta que la torta esté bien dorada por encima y al introducirle un palillo este salga seco y limpio.
