Salsa Cremosa de Sambuca con Croutones de Plátano Maduro

Ingredientes

  • 1 ½ Libra de camarones frescos (pelados y limpios)
  • 1 Taza de leche evaporada
  • ¼ De taza de sambuca o anís
  • 1 ½ Cucharada de curry en polvo
  • 1 Cucharada de mostaza en grano
  • 1 Cebolla blanca picadita
  • 1 Cucharada de aceite de oliva
  • ¼ De cucharadita de sal
  • 1/3 De taza de cilantro picadito
  • 1-2 Plátanos maduros
  • Aceite para freír

Preparación

  1. En una sartén a fuego medio, agregar un poco de aceite de oliva, cocinar la cebolla con un toque de sal y pimienta, luego incorporar los camarones y agregar un poco de sambuca o anís, cocinar por unos 3 minutos.
  2. Luego agregar el curry a los camarones y mezclar bien. Incorporar la leche evaporada, bajar el fuego y dejar hervir.
  3. Luego agregar la mostaza, reducir el fuego y dejar reposar en el calor por unos 5 minutos. Apagar el fuegom, retirar y finalmente agregar el cilantro picado junto a los croutones de plátano maduro.
  4. Se puede servir con arroz blanco tipo jazmín.
  5. Para los croutones de plátano maduro, cortar a la mitad (longitudinalmente y otra vez a mitad) retirar las semillas y cortar en cubos.
  6. Freír en aceite bien caliente, (solo que cubra la superficie de la sartén), dejar freír bien, retirar y colocar sobre papel de toalla absorbente.
